Obituary for Glennie Mae Hano Brunet
Glennie, age 91, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, April 22, 2020. She was born in Glenmora, LA and lived most of her life in Hammond, LA. Glennie loved Jesus, and served as an active member and Sunday School teacher at Natalbany Baptist Church for many years. She loved to travel, seeing as much of our beautiful country as possible. Glennie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who is already missed by all who knew and loved her.

Glennie is survived by her sister, Pearl Noto of Independence. Son-in-law, Charles ‘Chuck’ Spratt; granddaughter, Catherine Spratt Johnston; great-grandchildren, Mason, Garrett, Benjamin, and Brady.

Glennie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roland Brunet, Sr., siblings; Leona Starkey, Hollis Hano, Willie Hano, Carter Hano, Burlin Hano, and Bobby Hano. Daughters, Judith Diane Gill, and Rose Gill ; and son, Lucius David Gill.

Due to the current order by Gov. Edwards, the family is not able to invite the public to a visitation or funeral services as intended.
