Died 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 1991, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 78, a native of Albany and resident of Denham Springs. He was a retired pipefitter with Pipefitter's Local Union No. 198. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to religious services at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Noah Hano and the Rev. Mack Strange. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter, Ruth Hano Matherne, French Settlement; two sons, Hollis Hano Jr. and Richard "Dickie" Hano, both of Baker; two sisters, Glennie May Roland, Hammond, and Pearl Noto, Independence; three brothers, Carter and Burland Hano, both of Killian, and Bobby Hano, Pumpkin Center; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, Evelyn Eunice Sanders Hano; parents, Burl and Eliza Hano; a sister, Leona Nano Starkey; and a brother, Willie Hano. Pallbearers will be Bobby, Mark and Brian Hano, Delco K. Sanders, Daniel Matherne and EricFekete. He was a member of Gray's Creek Baptist Church, Denham Springs.
