Hazel C. Ketchum, 91, of 1 Pine Street, Route 87, Hillsgrove, went to be with her Lord August 10, 2007, at the Williamsport Hospital.

She was born February 26, 1916, in Hillsgrove, the daughter of Charles and Sadie Jackson Boyles.

Hazel was a member of the Hillsgrove Union Church and a member of the Community Hall. She enjoyed homemaking and in later years, enjoyed visiting shut-ins.

She was predeceased by her husband Harry L. Ketchum, who passed away in 1998. Also, she was predeceased by a daughter, Susie J., sister, Pearl Davis, and three brothers, Walter, Gordon, and Donald.

Surviving her is a son, Larry H. (Wanda) Ketchum of Montoursville; two daughters, Shirley M. (Marvin) Elliott of Watsontown and Betty J. (Robert) Hayward of New Port Richey, FL; three brothers, Howard of Montoursville, Charles of Williamsport, and Carl of Montoursville; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, August 14, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville. Interment will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:30 to10:30 a.m.
