Mabel was united in marriage to Cecil McDermed April 18, 1928, to this union was born two sons.
Mrs. McDermed was a member of the Methodist church for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil in 1967; her parents; three sisters, Mollie Seybold, Viola Strickler, and Mildred Pennell; three brothers, Bryan, Ernest and Lester Rhoades.
Those left to mourn are her two sons; Lawrence and Don and his wife, Kay, all of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two grandsons; two great-grandsons; two step-granddaughters; five step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and special friends, "T" and Ed Herzog and their daughter, Kathy and her son, Alexander.
Memorials may be given in her name.
Services will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at the Culbertson Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Daniel Spearow officiating. Burial will be at the Culbertson Cemetery. Visitation will be today until 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-7:30 p.m.
