HAYS - Ada Lang, 85, died Dec. 7, 1990, at St. John's of Hays Nursing Home, Hays. She was born April 10, 1905, at Victoria, the daughter of John and Anna Vonfeldt Brungardt.
A former resident of Ellis, moving to Hays in 1982, she was a seamstress in the Ellis area for 50 years and a dealer for Stanley Home Products for 25 years. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays, St. Gilbert Circle No. 323 Daughters of Isabella, Ellis, and the American Red Cross.
On May 17, 1927, she married Killian Lang at Victoria. He died June 15, 1965.
Survivors include: one son, Ronald, Hays; three sisters, Mary Bell and Emma Ubert, both of Hays, and Sister Lioba Marie Brungardt, Concordia; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Paulinus Karlin presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until service time Monday at Cline's Mortuary, Hays. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ellis.
Memorials may be sent to St. John's of Hays Nursing Home in care of the mortuary .
