BARONE Carol A. Barone, age 54, of Ansonia, died on Monday, September 15, 2003, at the Haven Health Care in Milford, after a brief illness. She was the widow of J. Gary Barone. She was born in Derby, on April 17, 1949, daughter of Francis and Dorothy Wimer Murhamer of Shelton. A graduate of Shelton High School, Class of 1967, she was employed by Abel s Catering of Westville for the past 10 years. She is survived by her parents; one daughter, Shannon R. Barone of Ansonia; one son, James D. Barone of Ansonia; one sister, Sharon Grass of Ansonia; and one granddaughter, Kira Michelle Barone. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Bennett Funeral Home, 91 North Cliff Street, Ansonia, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in the Church of the Assumption. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday (today) from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memory Fund in care of the funeral home.
