---Lenard Crabtree, Sr., age 79, of Clarence, MO, passed away on April 16, 2020 at his home.
---Lenard was born July 16, 1940 in Howell County, MO to Adam Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Morgan) Crabtree. He was married Evelyn Stewart. She preceded him in death in 1999. He married Beverly (Ashlock) Lewis on October 22, 2000.
---He is survived by his wife; eight children, Tony Crabtree (Joanne) of Wentzville, MO, Steven Crabtree (Kerri) of Alabama, Lenard Crabtree, Jr. of Camdenton, MO, Rodney Crabtree (Loretta) of Moberly, MO, Kevin Crabtree (Ethel) of Monroe City, MO, Michelle Bockhorst (Walter) of Troy, MO, Connie Pearlstein (Dan) of Florida, and Laura Fowler (Dennie) of Troy, MO; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
---He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Evelyn; one son, Randy Crabtree; granddaughter, Marissa Orlando; brothers, Roy, Everett, Ervin, Ray, Nathan, and Clinton; and sisters, Mae and Ruth.
---Lenard attended Nazarene Church in O’Fallon, MO and the O’Fallon Baptist Church. He was in the Air Force during Vietnam wartime. He was a member of the Local 36 sheet metal workers. Lenard was also a member of the Elks Lodge in O’Fallon, MO, and the AmVets of St. Peters, MO. He enjoyed fishing, playing darts, shooting pool, camping, RVing, and playing cards. Lenard loved being around people. He never knew a stranger.
---Due to CDC guidelines we will be having a graveside military service that will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at the Shelby Memorial Cemetery in Shelbyville, MO. Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Heart Transplant/Cardiology in memory of granddaughter Marissa Orlando.
