The deceased was a woman of warm sympathies, excellent judgement, and next to the mother who bore them, is credited by her brothers and sisters with making a happy home for their childhood and youth.
She was united in marriage with Ormond Paddock July 27, 1849. Two children, Francis and William, were born to them, both of whom are living. Francis is now Mrs. S.S. Driver, of Madison, and William is living in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Mrs. Z. O. Paddock died of old age at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S.S. Driver, 505 W. Washington Ave., Madison, Friday, Nov. 1. She was born March 10, 1816, at Thetford, Vt.; she was in her 92nd year. The funeral service was quietly conducted at the house, by Rev. F.T. Galpin of Madison, Monday, Nov. 4 at 8 am. The remains were brought to Darlington on Monday and interment made in the family lot in Union Grove cemetery- Republican Journal.
