Mrs. Emma Jane Benchoff, wife of William Benchoff, died on Tuesday at her home between Charmian and Fairfield of dropsy, after a long illness. She was eight days less than 72 years of age. She was the daughter of Daniel Ruhrman and was born in Frederick county, Md., though the greater part of her life was spent in Adams County. Albert Benchoff, at home and Mrs. Lulu Watson, of Iron Springs, Adams county. The funeral was on Thursday with services and interment at the Methodist Church at Fountaindale.
