She was 53 years and is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Ella Barkdoll, Smithsburg; Icie, Mamie, Carrie, Bertha, Louis, Milton and Albert, all at home. Milton is very sick with the fever and Mr. Toms has just recovered after an illness of nine weeks. In all, five of the family have been afflicted.
Mr. Toms was an employe of the Spoke Workshop to the time of his illness. He moved to Hagerstown from near Smithsburg about three years ago.
