We are sorry to report the death of Mrs. Emmie Fipps on October 12th. She was the wife of J.R. Fipps and had made her home here for many years. She was a member of the Baptist Church She is survived by her husband, J.R. Fipps, several children, grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral services was conducted at Dedan Church Friday afternoon by Rev, Coleman Padgett. Interment was in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral home was in charge.
