Clarion (PA) REPUBLICAN, Feb. 25, 1932

Joseph T. Beck, aged 77 years died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Boyles of Clarion, Tuesday morning, February 11, after a brief illness of four weeks. He was born May 17, 1854, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Beck of Knox. Mr. Beck is survived by the following children: Mrs. Myrtle Winkler of Emlenton, Mrs. Ida Finefrock of near Sligo, Mrs. Mary Ambrose, Mrs. Anna Boyles and Roy J. Beck, all of Clarion. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Samuel Beck of Shippenville, James Beck of Knox, Mrs. Minnie Wilson of near Pittsburgh, Mrs. Lizzie Myers and Mrs. Fiet Best of Knox. His wife preceded him in death two years ago, October 29, 1929. Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon with Rev. J. Kent Rizer, D.D., Pastor of the Clarion Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment was made in the Shamburg Cemetery.
