Mr. Alford was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of Southwest Mississippi Board of Realtors and the state and national boards of realtors. He was a member of the McComb-Pike County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development District. He was a member of J.J. White Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Elias Alford and Josephine Bertha Egloff Alford; and his half-sister, Ella Quin Alford Mixon.
He was survived by three brothers, Jacob Egloff Alford of Metairie, LA, James Louis Alford of McComb, MS and John Warren Alford of Pass Christian, MS.
