Erma was born on October 2, 1919 in Douglas, Wyoming to Clyde and Hazel Bower. On July 4, 1939 she married Warren Edwards in Douglas. After living in several areas, they moved to Everett, Washington in 1959. Erma worked for the COVE program in Everett and was a Snohomish County Census Taker.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, embroidering and crocheting, and gardening. She was a Camp Fire Leader, Cub Scout Leader, a member of Order of Eastern Star Ivy Chapter No. 43 Chapter, Grand Guardian Council of the Job's Daughters Bethel No.23 and the Order of the Amaranth Lincoln Court No. 24 in Tacoma. Both she and her husband enjoyed square dancing, camping and traveling in their motor home. Warren preceded her in death in August 1988.
Survivors include her daughter Karen Snyder (Gary), of North Bend; son Steve Edwards (Sandra), of Gresham, Oregon; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A viewing for family and friends will be held Saturday, April 28th from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Bauer Funeral Chapel, 701 1st Street, Snohomish, WA. 98290. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 P.M. at the GAR Cemetery, 8601 Riverview Road, Snohomish.
A gathering for family and friends will follow the service.
The family suggests remembrances to the Pine Lake Adult Family Home, Eastside Group Health Hospice,or your favorite charity.
