Jerelyn was a stay at home mother and worked for Rust Wholesale in Greensburg before retirement. She was married to Paul Koester on February 25, 1978, and he preceded her in death on November 22, 1999. Jerelyn is survived by one son; Mike Koester, Greensburg, two daughters; Kimberly Stirn, Batesville, Kelly (Brian) Land, Greensburg, one sister; Deborah (Dan) Holt, Westport, one brother; Kevin (Lori) Cummins, Westport, and four grandchildren; Ethan Stirn, Hailey Ballantini, Aaron Stirn, and Cooper Land. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul Koester, and son-in-law; Joseph Stirn. Private services were held on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home followed by burial at Union Baptist Cemetery officiated by Rev. John Meyer. Memorial contributions can be made at the funeral home to Our Hospice.
