OBITUARY:
Millard Allen Cummins, 55, R.R. 3, Highland Addition, Greensburg, died at 4:45 p.m. Sunday at Greensburg Hospital shortly after being admitted. He had not been ill. Born April 4, 1921 in Metamora, the son of Walter and Maggie (Thornberry) Cummins, he was married Jan. 19, 1946 in Greensburg to Pansy Land, who survives. Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Jerelyn Ryse, Greensburg, and Mrs. Daniel (Debra) Holt, Germany; a son, Kevin Cummins, at home; four brothers, and two grandchildren. A sister and brother preceded in death. Mr. Cummins, who was a World War II veteran, served with the Army in the South Pacific. He was a retired employee of the Chrysler Corporation, Indianapolis, where he had been employed 25 years. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Greensburg, with the Rev. Forrest Tyler officiating. Burial will be in Sand Creek Cemetery, Greensburg.
