Frank E. Jones, 91, of 3425 Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport, died Saturday at Americana Healthcare Center, Davenport.
He retired in 1970 as a superintendent of construction of Priester Construction Co. He had been employed at Tunniclif Construction Co.
Mr. Jones married Elsie Schmidt in 1928 in Davenport. He was a member of Carpenters Union 166.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Minnie Rodabaugh and Frankie Kroeger, both of Davenport; sons, William, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and John E., Davenport; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and sisters, Mary and Emma Jones, both of Kansas City, Mo.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the American Federation of the Blind.
