He was veteran of WWII, a member of the VFW post in Rogersville, a member of Old Union Methodist Chuch and an employee for the city of Church Hill.
He is survived by his widow: Mrs. Zeda Housewright; 2 daughters: Mrs. Carolyn (Jerry) Caldwell of Surgoinsville, Mrs. Darlene (Gerald) Adkins of Kingsport; 3 sons: Hugh E Housewright, Jr of Eaton, Ohio, George D Housewright of Kingsport, Donald E Housewright of the home; 3 sisters: Mrs. Plina Oaks of Chuch Hill, Mrs. Juanita Mobley of Camden, Ohio, Mrs. Ruby Amis of Chuch Hill; 11 Grandchildren.
Funeral services Wednesday, Mar 7 at Old Union Methodist Church with burial to follow in the chuch cemetery
