Zeda Mae Housewright,67, of Eaton died Saturday evening, Sep. 18 at home. Born oct. 15, 1925 in Hamilton, she was the daughter of George M Overbey and Bertie Mae Morris Overbey. She lived in Preble county for 20 years.
Her husband, Hugh E Housewright died in 1983(WRONG: s/b 1973), also preceeding her in death: a son, Donald Eugene Housewright in 1985, two brothers: James K Overbey in 1977, Hubert C Overbey in 1980 and a sister, Mary E Heil in 1991.
Survivors include two sons: Hugh E Housewright, Jr of Eaton and George D Housewright of Kingsport, TN; two daughters: Carolyn Sur Rhoton and Ruby Darlene Adkins both of Church Hill, TN; two brothers: George M Overbey of West Chester and Perry Edward of Sharonville; two sisters: Anna Lou Newsome and Mattie Sue Richardson both of Reading. 12 Granchildren and 14 great-granchildren.
Funeral services Thursday, September 23 in Church Hill, TN. Burial in Old Union Cemetery in Church Hill, TN
