Lorraine Blanch, 84, of Peoria died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at her home.

Born Nov. 1, 1919, in Chandlerville to John and Sarah Friend McCaulley, she married Daniel Cook in Pekin. He preceded her in death. She later married Robert Blanch. He died July 3, 1986.

She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy Jo Cook and Marsha Spiller.

Surviving are four sons, Daniel (Barb) Cook Jr., John (Nancy) Cook, Ron (Lynn) Cook and Robert (Rita) Blanch; six daughters, Pat (Jack) Defreitas, Linda ( Brent) Blakey, Sandy (Gene) Williams, Sherry Covarrubias, Janice (Dean) Morgan and Susan (Wayne) Morrison; three stepsons, Robert Blanch Jr., Marion "Bud" Blanch and Eddy Blanch; one stepdaughter, Eleanor (Bill) Mulligan; one brother, Richard "Bill" McCaulley; one sister, Marjorie Darlene Hess; 27 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was a housekeeper for the sisters at the Immaculate Conception Convent in West Peoria for more than 19 years, retiring in 1988.

She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Peoria.
