Services for Stanley Ford Roe, 81, who died Monday in Mesa General Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. today in Gibbons Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern. Burial will be in Double Butte Cemetery.

Mr. Roe, 606 W. University, was graduated from Central College of Education at Ellensburg, Washington. He had taught in elementary schools in Washington and also was formerly affiliated with the University of Montana at Missoula, Montana.

A former Washington State apple grower, he had operated fruit stands in the Valley Born in Horsebeads, NY, he came here 20 years ago from Omak, Washington. He was a Methodist.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John Larson of Tempe; a son, Richard of Tonasket Washington; a sister, Mrs Harold Leines of Wittmann; three sisters and five brothers out of state, and nine grandchildren. No flowers, please. Remembrances are suggested to the Cancer Fund.
