Martha Evelyn Roe Green Feb 12, 1918 - Oct 12, 2013 Mother had walked with the Lord for over 91 years! She and Steve Green were married July 1, 1939. They served as missionaries in Venezuela 1939-1969, St Vincent 1971-1974, and Spain 1975, then wrote materials for TIME (Theological Instruction and Missionary Enrichment) 1976-1999. Dad died 1986. Her autobiography Pioneers in Pith Helmets was published 2008. She is survived by her children: John S Green, Betty Sue Green Brewster, Ethan Green, Timothy Green, eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Her funeral will be in Bethel Baptist Church, Walnut Cove, North Carolina, 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
