Reva M. Chaput, 96, Minneapolis, died Thursday, February 27, 2020. Reva was born September 4, 1923 in Miltonvale to Hershel L. and Jennie (Briggs) Owen. She lived her entire life in Kansas.

In 1940, Reva and Louis Chaput said their wedding vows in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Miltonvale. Louis passed away in July 1982. Reva was a homemaker, but also worked as an assistant cook at the Golden Wheel Senior Center.

Reva was preceded in death by her parents; husband, one infant brother; six sisters; and five brothers.

Survivors are her children, Virginia (Ray) Rector, Edward (Jutta) Chaput, and Mike (Christy) Chaput; eight grandchildren, Melody (Russell) Leedy, Michelle (Mark) Wyatt, Faunett (Mike) Weis, Marla (Chris) Robins, Trisha O'Leary, Tara (Ryan) Olsen, Terry (Kayleen) Chaput, and Rick Chaput; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-great grandchildren; and sisters, LaDonna Patterson, Phyllis Morganson, and Joann Adair.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 4 at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to the Golden Wheel Senior Center or the Ottawa County Health Center both of Minneapolis.
