Alan Wayne Hacker, age 76, of London, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky. He leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years, Billie Joyce Linkes Hacker; two children, Nathan Miller & wife Debra of Winterhaven, FL, Jonathan Miller & wife Patricia of Lexington, KY; four siblings, Kenneth Hacker & wife Zola of East Bernstadt, KY, Norma Jean Bailey & husband Dale of Downers Grove, IL, Linda Ledington & husband Robert of East Bernstadt, KY, Danny Hacker & wife Debra of London, KY; four grandchildren, Noah Miller of Georgetown, KY, Nicholas Miller of London, KY, Jessica Nicole Liggett of Lexington, KY, Joshua Andrew Miller of Lexington, KY, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lucy Brown Hacker; and by four siblings. Alan attended Corinth Baptist Church in London. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Alan was also a member of the London-Laurel Optimist Club. He worked for 41 years at Food Fair where he was a manager. Funeral services for Alan Wayne Hacker will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Andrew Dyer officiating. Burial will take place at the A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London. Military honors will be provided by the local DAV chapter 158 of Keavy, KY. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 2 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
