Albert was the son of Leonard Hacker and Rosa Pennington. He married Lucy Calvina Brown, daughter of Wade Hampton Brown and Nannie Lee, on 28 Dec 1935 in Laurel County, Kentucky. Albert worked for Laurel Grocery and was on the school board. He attended the Baptist church with his children and with his sister Marie Hacker Wiggins. Albert Hacker and Lucy Brown had children Nannie, Norma Jean, Albert Kenneth, Alan, Roy, Linda, Helen, Steve and Dan.
