Roy Lee Hacker was born on January 27th, 1946 in Laurel County, Kentucky, the son of Albert and Lucy Brown Hacker who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Lorman Hacker, three children, Roy Keith, Dustin and Kathy Ann Hacker all of East Bernstadt, three brothers, Kenny Hacker of East Bernstadt, Alan and Dan Hacker of London, two sisters, Norma Jean Bailey of Donners Grove, Illinois, and Linda Ledington of East Bernstadt, seven grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Steve Hacker and two sisters, Helen Bailey and Nannie Rose Collins.

He was a former employee of Laurel Grocery Company, a veteran of the United States Army and was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

Roy Lee Hacker departed this life on Saturday, May 25th, 2014 being 68 years, 3 months, and 27 days of age.
