A native of Gastonia, N.C., he was the son of Betty Stewart Grigg of the home and the late James Otto Grigg. He was a member of Davidson (N.C.) United Methodist Church and was a supervisor inspector, machinery belt. Well known in many states for his culinary arts, he was an artist and loved life and people.
In addition this father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Eugene Grigg.
Services will be held at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
