Susie Tickemyer, 75, of Marshall, died Tuesday, November 28,1989 at Riverview Heights Nursing Home in Waverly, Mo.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm., Saturday December 2 in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Rev. Rick Aulgur will officiate. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home.
Born January 14, 1914, in Elmwood, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Brown and Ella White Brown. On April 27, 1936, in Marshall, she married James Tickemyer, who preceded her in death on May 10, 1984. She was a resident of Saline county most of her life. Mrs. Tickemyer was a former employee of Banquet Foods.
Survivors include six daughters: Mrs. Faye Burris (James) of Sedalia, Mo., Mrs Cathy Wolfe (Don)of Smithton, Mo., Mrs. Margaret Dobbins (Dan) of Kansas city, Ks.,Ella Mae Oltmer, Mrs. Nina Campbell (Milford), Mrs. Velma Brown (Donald) all of Marshall; 34 grandchildren and six great grandchildren: Two Brothers: James Franklin Brown of Mt. Leonard and Amos Henry Brown of Indianapolis , Indiana: Two sisters: Sarah Margaret Rooks of Marshall, and Minnie Irene Sinnett of Gilliam: Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, one grandson and several brothers and sisters.
