Allie Lee Atkinson nee Brattain was born in 1930 in Seattle to Carl Brattain and Phyllis Myers. She was the youngest of 6 children. She graduated in 1949, She enrolled in Nursing and attended the Nursing Program for 2 1/2 years, but never graduated. She married Raymond Dixon Atkinson on Dec 1, 1951, Chapel of the Pines, Fort Lawton, Washington. They raised 6 kids and lived in Seattle, Germany, California and Colorado, finally settling in lake Stevens. She finished her Nursing Degree and worked at Providence Hospital in Everett for 29 years. Allie Lee was an avid History Buff and was very involved with The American Legion. She loved sewing, skiing, traveling, the ocean, and being quiet in the woods.
