Madine Hamm Fairbairn graduated from this life into heaven while sleeping on Dec. 27, 2018. Her Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the First Methodist Church of Shallowater, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to First Methodist Church of Shallowater where she was a long time member, Meals on Wheels, or a worthy cause. Madine was 94.

She was born in Lubbock March 9, 1924. She was a life long resident of the Lubbock area having resided in Floydada, Plainview, Brownfield, Lubbock and Shallowater. She has worked for Pioneer Natural Gas, Lubbock State School, Texas Instruments where she retired from, and many others.

She is survived by two children, Dennis Fairbairn of Lubbock, TX and Alan Fairbairn of Fort Worth, TX. Two Step children, Debbie Magliano of Danville,CA, and Elaine Rink of San Jose, CA., as well as eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She lived a full life, spending most of it in West Texas raising her family. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
