Services Set for LaVere W. Heiner
Funeral services will be held saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m. in the Bedford Ward Chapel for LaVere Wolfley Heiner, 43, of Bedford, who died Wednesday.
Friends may view the remains at Schwab Mortuary Friday evening or Saturday morning for 10 o'clock until funeral time at the church.
LaVere W. Heiner Dies in Utah Of Heart Ailment
LaVere W. Heiner, 43, of Bedford, Wyo., passed away in the LDS Hospital at Salt Lake City Wednesday, March 20, at 2:30 p.m.
Funeral services were conducted in the Bedford Ward Chapel Saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m. Burial was in the Bedford Cemetery.
He was born in Bedford, Wyo. on April 8, 1924 to Robert Charles and Sylvia Wolfley Heiner.
He had had a very bad heart since he was a baby and has had poor health most of his life.
His life has been spent on the farm where he enjoyed the animal life, the flowers and the beauty of the fields. He loved to work iwth machinery and help wherever he was needed.
LaVere was always very good with figures and tools and loved going with his dad to do carpentry work. He helped build many buildings in the valley.
He loved to take pictures and always thought the children made the beauty of the picture. the beauty of the family home and yard was his pride and joy,and doing anything to help in keeping them attractive was part of his life.
The fishing trips he made with his dad and Uncle Ernest Wolfley were always enjoyable and a worthwhile part of the time he had for pleasure.
Each fall hunting trips were planned and he always wanted to go and get his elk or deer and enjoy the beauty of the hills.
He served in many positions in the church to his best ability,including elders quorum counselor, MIA dance committee, arranging for ushers for stake conference, and helped to arrange hospital visits for Bedford Ward priesthood bearers.
LaVere will be most remembered for the love he had for children. Children everywhere loved and admired him.
Appointments were made for him to go to Salt Lake City to consult doctors there to see if they could do anything for him.
At this time he had the privilege of going to the Visitor Center on the LDS Temple Grounds and enjoying the tour the have there.
He enjoyed a meal at the Wagon Wheel and also a visit with his sister,' Alean Boothe at Clearfield, Utah.
Survivors include his father and mother Robert and Sylvia Heiner; brothers and sister, Delbert, Glenn and morris Heiner and Alean Boothe; and 28 nieces and nephews.
