Memorial services for Major Carl L. Bonham (USAF Ret.), 58, of 402 Indian Creek, will be at 11a.m. Tuesday in the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Davis officiating. Local arrangements are by Bailey Funeral Home.
He died Sunday in Tyler Medical Center Hospital.
Major Bonham was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Stockton, Cal., a son of Carlton L. and Nell Thurmond Bonham Sr. After his retirement from the Air Force he had been associated with the Lockeed Missile and Space Corporation. He was a Presbyterian.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley Pixley Bonham of Palestine; two sons, Carlton L. Bonham III of Arlington and Gregg P. Bonham of Palestine; three daughters, Mrs. Carlene Jurich of San Leandor, Cal.; Mrs. Patricia Tucker of Ono, Cal., and Mrs. Priscilla Bledsoe of Sunny Vale, Cal.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Bonham Sr. of Stockton, Cal., and eight grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorials go to the American Heart Association.
