Virginia A. Gibbons, 65, retired seamstress, died Sunday, April 5, 1998, at a Forth Worth hospital.

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation 6 to 8 Monday at the funeral home.

Virginia A. Gibbons was born Jan. 15, 1933, in Garland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Gibbons. She was known for her generosity, compassion and was a good listener. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.

Survivors: Daughters and sons-in-law, brother Billy Dickson; sisters, Sonny Curry and Mary Lou Beavers; and grandchildren.
