REV. A. B. WHITE DEAD

Former Marshall County Resident
   Passes Away at Chicago


   Rev. A. B. White, of Coon Rapids, formerly a resident of Marshall county and a brother of Mrs. Ellis Baily, southest of the city, died Monday night at a Chicago hospital where he had been receiving treatment for several weeks. The nature of his last illness and particulars of his death were not detailed in a message to Mrs. Baily announcing the death. Mrs. White was with her husband at Chicago during his last illness and death.
   Rev. Mr. White ws born in Indiana, and was 54 years old. He came to Marshall county with his parents when a lad. The family settled near Bangor where it resided for many years. Mr. White studied for the ministry and had held charges in the Friends church in Liberty township, south of this city on Center street, at New Providence, Paton and Coon Rapids. He gave up his work at Coon Rapids about two months ago, and had intended making his home with his children at New Providence.
   Mr. White is survived by his wife and six children, Arthur White and Mrs. mary Wilson, of Paton; Elwood and Wellington White and Mrs. Anna Thornton, of New Providence, and Gerturde White, a student at Penn College, Oskaloosa. Two brothers and two sisters also survive. They are Owen White, of Conrad; J. C. White, of Bushnell, S. D.; Mrs. F. J. Hollingsworth, of Whittier, Cal.; and Mrs. Baily of this city.
   Arrangements for the funeral have not been definitely made but the body will be brought to Bangor where the services will be held. Interment will be in the Friends cemetery at New Providence.
