Ann Ivy Warford was the fourth child and second daughter of Mahlon Fox Warford and Catherine Boyer. She was born in Buffalo, Erie, New York. Ann had 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Ann had two older brothers, Sylvester and Charles H, and one older sister, Mary Louisa. She had two younger sisters, Harriet Ann, and Juliette, and one younger brother, Louis Mahlon.
The 1850 Census shows her living with her family in Lucas County, Ohio.

In 1969 she married Henry Conrad Borchers in Missouri. Their union would produce 8 children, Sylvester Albert Borchers (1860-1934), Sarah Elizabeth Borchers (1862), Emma Juliette Borchers (1866-1920), William Henry Borchers (1868-), Hattie Elnora Borchers (1870-1950), Ulysses's Sidney Grant (1872-1964),Fannie Loretta Borchers (1874-1968), Frederick Webster Borchers (1879-).

Sometime between 1869 and 1893, Ann Ivy moved to Spokane, Washington where she died at 51 years of age.
