Mrs. Mary Ruth Myers, age 87, of Bonaire, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at her residence. Visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home from 6p.m. to 8p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11a.m. with Rev. Paul Weldon officiating. Interment will be at Orange Hill Cemetery in Hawkinsville.
Mrs. Myers was a native or Irwin County and was retired from Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. She was a member of the Holiness Pentecostal faith and attended Crosspoint Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed sewing, reading and cooking. She also loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William “Frog” Myers; daughters, Winnie Carol Myers, Linda Myers Belk and Mary Lee Myers Hood.
Survivors include her sons, Charles (Sue) Myers of Byron, Georgia, William E. “Junior” Myers of Cochran, Georgia and Dale Myers of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughters, Margaret (Marvin) Osborne of Harrison, Georgia and Gale (Randy) Ballard of Bonaire, Georgia; 14 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted but donations may be made to Homestead Hospice, 500 Osigian Blvd., Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
