Rites set for Lena Waltz in Morgantown Friday
Mrs. Lena Waltz, 73, Trafalgar route two, died at her residence Wednesday.
Born in Bartholomew County March 24, 1898 to J. W. and Hannah Milnes Coy, she married James Leslie Waltz on July 30, 1920. He survives.
A member of Samaria Christian Church, she had lived in the Trafalgar area for 30 years and near the present Camp Atterbury site before that.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown. Rev. Ray Baltzell will officiate.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home any time until the services.
Survivors include the husband, ten children, 19 grandchildren, one brother and five sisters.
The children are Lyle Waltz of Selma, Alabama; and Vern, Schearrel, Wendell, Dale, Herschell, Dwight and Dean Waltz, Mrs. Jean Pruitt, and Mrs. Rheta Cook, all of Trafalgar.
The brother is Emerson Coy, Shelbyville, and the sisters are Mrs. Arie Fordyce, Edinburg, Mrs. Delia Galey, Columbus, Mrs. Gladys McKee, Riverside, Calif., Mrs. Bessie Campbell, Barnsborough, Pa., and Mrs. Esma Campbell, Brookville, Pa.
