Mrs. Cora Clark Dies At Franklin
TRAFALGAR -- Mrs. Cora Clark of Trafalgar route 1 died this morning at the hospital in Franklin after a 9-week illness. She was 87.
Funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Vandivier-Parsley funeral home at Edinburg by the Rev. Ray Bozell. Burial will be at Rest Haven cemetery at Edinburg. Persons can call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
Born Feb. 6, 1884, in Bartholomew county to John and Hannah Milnes Coy, Mrs. Clark was married Jan. 31, 1909, to J. Wilbur Clark, who died in 1960.
She had been a member of New Bethel, Samaria and Nineveh Christian churches.
Surviving are four children, Merrill Clark of Nineveh, Maurice Clark of Trafalgar, Mrs. Marjorie Mahoney of Wilton, Conn., and Mrs. Beulah Dinn of Greenwood, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, six sisters and a brother, Mrs. Delia Galey, Mrs. Artie [Arie] Fordyce, Mrs. Bessie Campbell, Mrs. Lena Waltz, Mrs. Esma Campbell, Mrs. Gladys McKee and Emerson Coy, all of the Edinburg area.

SERVICES FRIDAY FOR MRS. CLARK
The Reverend Ray Bozell conducted funeral services Friday afternoon at Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home in Edinburg for Mrs. Cora Clark, Trafalgar, Route #1, widow of J. Wilbur Clark, who died Tuesday at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital after a 9-week illness. Mrs. Clark, 87, was the sister of Mrs. Rowland Fordyce of Edinburg.
Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburg. Pallbearers were Byron Lee, Hansel Coy, Floyd Wirey, Dale Waltz, Kenneth Clark, and Don Smith.
Born February 6, 1884, in Bartholomew County Mrs. Clark was the daughter of John and Hannah Milnes Coy. She was married January 31, 1909, to Wilbur Clark who preceded in death in 1960.
She had been a member of New Bethel, Samaria and Nineveh Christian churches.
Surviving were four children, Merrill Clark of Nineveh, Maurice Clark of Trafalgar, Mrs. Marjorie Mahoney of Wilton, Conn., and Mrs. Beulah Dinn of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six sisters and a brother, Mrs. Fordyce of Edinburg, Mrs. Delia Galey, Mrs. Bessie Campbell, Mrs. Lena Waltz, Mrs. Esma Campbell, Mrs. Gladys McKee and Emerson Coy.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 9, for Mrs. Cora Clark of R. 1, Trafalgar. Mrs. Clark died Tuesday morning at the hospital in Franklin after a 9-week illness. She was 87.
Mrs. Clark was born Feb. 6, 1884 in Bartholomew County to John and Hannah Milnes Coy. She was married to J. Wilbur Clark on January 31, 1909. He preceded her in death in 1960.
