Sandra Dorothy (Swan) Brindamour was born October 21, 1948 in Willimantic, Connecticut to the late Edward Albert Swan and Avis Marie (Nichols) Swan.  She married the love of her life Roland Carl Brindamour on August 2, 1980.  She is survived by three daughters, Tammy of Rockland, Maine Teresa and her husband Charles of Knoxville, Tennessee and Glendora and her husband Timothy of Waldoboro, Maine.  She is predeceased by her son Wayne Philbrook.  She came from a large family with 12 siblings; predeceased by 7 and 5 still living.    Sandra is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.   She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She love spending time with her family and making memories.  She served in the American Legion woman's auxiliary and the year that her husband served as commander of Post 19 of Willimantic, Connecticut; she held the position of president.  She was always a hard worker finishing off her working career at UCONN for 24 years.  In her free time she enjoyed long motorcycle rides with her husband and friends.   She was an avid reader and love finding new stories to capture her interest.  She loved crocheting blankets and was known for donating them from time to time.  She absolutely loved watching the Wizard of Oz and finding anything that had to do with that film.  She also enjoyed Law and Order and NCIS.  Sandra was also a lover of dogs and was predeceased by Sheena, Lily & Harley.   There will be no calling hours or service.  The family is planning a private burial in the spring.   In lieu of flowers please donate to Saint Jude Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN  38105 or at www.stjude.org.
