GERRY – Robert M. Clark, 89, of Heritage Village, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, in Buffalo General Hospital’s Hospice Unit.
Born Aug. 25, 1924, in Waverly, Pa., he was the son of the late Leroy and Gladys Deats Clark. He was a graduate of Chesbrough Seminary.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps 398th Bomb Group stationed in England.
Bob was a tool and die maker, employed 15 years with General Railway Signal and more than 20 years with Eastman Kodak, retiring in 1989.
He was a member of the Gerry Free Methodist Church, a charter member of the Greece Free Methodist Church and Rodeo City Senior Citizens.
Bob enjoyed playing table tennis, woodworking, bird watching and spending time with family.
Husband of 66 years to Evelyn Hancock Clark, whom he married July 1, 1947; father of Robert E. (Beverly) Clark of Sinclairville, Sharon (Robert) Grif-fin of Penn Yan and Renee (Edward) Watson of North Chili; grandfather of Samuel Clark, Jill (James) Waters, Tammy (Mike) Foster, Rob (Naomi), Michael (Emily) and Samuel (Laura) Griffin, Teresa (Bruce) Pfendler, Cynthia (Jeff) Kemper, Dekota Watson, Jason and Brandon Litteer; great-grandfather of 22; great-great-grandfather of four; and brother of Betty Dodgson, Lavina Lewis, Amos (Geri) and Merle (Lou) Clark and the late Helen Silfee. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
