Alexander H. Schoofs, 74, of 85 Adams St., died Wednesday at St. Agnes Hospital.

Born at Johnsburg on Aug. 22, 1897 he was a son of Dr. J. J. and Anna Brost Schoofs. He never married.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Schwartz of the Town of Bryon and Mrs. Walter Klaus of Clintonville; and a brother, John of Lafayette, La. He was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, and at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, Byron. The Rev. Richard Fechhelm will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Alexander H. Schoofs, who died Wednesday, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Catholic Church, Byron, with the Rev. Richard Fechhelm officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert, Donald and Charles Geiger, Harold Schwartz, Walter Klaus and Narivin Sessing.
