Lillie Fowler was killed in an accident involving a wagon and hit-and-run automobile on the Millsap Highway. The accident also claimed the life of her sister-in-law, Annie Jane Bean, who was the wife of Arthur Wilson Fowler. Lillie was never married and had no children, she was engaged to Bill Hall at the time of the accident. Annie was killed instantly. Lillie was not expected to live and died on the May 11, 1926 which was 2 days after the accident. Services were delayed and both were buried at the same time.
