He is survived by his wife, Wydette C. Barker of Clinton, SC; two sons, Arthur E. Barker, Jr. and wife, Denise of Laurens, SC, and Danny Barker and wife, Kim of Enoree, SC; seven grandchildren, Alisha Barker Powell and husband, Jon of Salem, Jason Barker of Laurens, SC, Colt Euitt Barker and wife, Tabitha of Ft. Hood, TX, Cody Barker, Rebecca Barker, and Leigh Barker, all of Enoree SC, and Danielle Barbere of Laurens, SC; four great-grandchildren, Jaida-Anne Barker of Elkhart, TX, Zane Nowak of Kentucky, Ryder Barker Powell of Salem, and Zaiden Barker of Ft. Hood, TX; three sisters, Opal Anderson of Newberry, SC, Mary Ellison of Okeechobee, FL, and Dot Davis of Virginia Beach, VA; and brother, Leroy Barker of Hawthorne, NV.

He was predeceased by a sister, Glenda Ward, and five brothers, Claude Barker, Charlie Barker, Rudolph Barker, Pete Barker, Sam Barker and Marcell Barker.
