Paul Edward Bowie Jr., 62, of 25 Highland Terrace, associated with Dan River of Greenville, husband of Mrs. Earline Davis Bowie, Died Tuesday.
A native of Anderson County, son of the late Paul Edward and Ruth Girardeau Bowie, he was a graduate of Clemson University, member of Board of Directors of Fort Hill Natural Gas Authority, member of Liberty Lions Club, South Carolina Baptist Hospital Trustee, Pickens County Board of Edcution, member of Liberty First Baptist Church, a Sunday School Teacher and former deacon,an active Gideon and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving also are five sons, Stephen Anthony, Gregory Morgan, Donald Earl and Paul E. Bowie III of Easley and Patrick Carlton Bowie of LeGrange, Georgia.; a sister, Mrs. William Fox of Providence.Rhode Island.; a Brother, Douglas Bowie of Augusta, Georgia,; and nine Grandchildren.
Services will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Liberty First Baptist Church, with Burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville SC,
The body will be placed in the church at 4 p.m. Thursday.-- B.F. Eads Funeral Home.
