Betty M. (Clark) Cornell, 91, of Blackhawk Road, Clearville, Pennsylvania, entered God's eternal home on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. She was born on January 6, 1923 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Blair Clark and Mildred (Hann) Clark Risbon. On June 21, 1941, she married Harold M. Cornell Sr. and they celebrated sixty-two years of marriage. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2003.

She is survived by the following family:

Shirley married to Kenny Collins, Clearville, PA
Wanda Lochner, Bedford, PA
Joyce Dunn, Apopka, FL
Joanne married to John Bennett, Hanover, PA
Harold Cornell, Jr. married to Ann, Sharpsburg, MD

Brothers:
John Clark, Everett, PA
Jim Clark married to Joyce, Mt. Holly, NJ

Sixteen Grandchildren:
Chris Collins, Lisa Hann, John Lochner, Jr., Michelle Scholley, Emily Whittemore, Matthew Dunn, Jeff Bennett, Jen Brown, Heather Gaulding, Mike Cornell, Eric Cornell, Jodi Dunn, Michael Dunn, Kathy Dunn, Susan Easterbrook and Betsy Shannon.

And Twenty-Two Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by the following family:
Siblings: Joe Clark, Helen Karns, Lillian Bennett, Elsie Mellott, Pauline Sponsler; a grandson: Andy Foor; Great Grandson: Josiah Bennett and a son-in-law: Tim Dunn.

Betty was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1941.

She was a homemaker and did the milking on the family dairy farm. She also was a great baker and cook; cooking at Mann-Monroe Elementary School for fifteen years until her retirement. She spoiled all with delicious homemade rolls and tasty nutritious meals.

Betty was a member of the Clearville United Church of Christ. When it closed, she attended Clear Ridge Fellowship Church.

Over the years she was active in Clearville Homemakers, WCTU and Clearville community church events.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, embroidering, sewing and reading.

She was a loving and caring mother with a gentle touch. She showed kindness to all and never had anything bad to say about anyone; an example for all to follow.

Burial will be held in Everett Cemetery.
