James D. Clark of Mount Holly, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at Samaritan Hospice, Mount Holly surrounded by his family. He was 81.

He was born in Everett, Pa., the son of the late Blair and Mildred Clark.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 35 years as a senior master sergeant. He loved spending time with his family and his dog, Molly. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce (Birdsall); three children, Sherry Trail (Wayne), Robin Brewer (Bob), and Stephen Clark; four grandchildren, Casey Carver (Jon), Andrew Brewer (Deborah), Michael Brewer, and Stephanie Brewer; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brent, Xander, and Juliet; a brother, John Clark; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends may visit the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mount Holly. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pemberton.

Memorial contributions can be made in James' name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
