She was born on December 10, 1920 in West Providence Township, a daughter of the late Blair and Mildred Hann Clark.
On January 25, 1941, she married Leroy Webster Bennett: he preceded her in death on August 15, 1993, ending a union of 52 years.
She is survived by four sons and a foster son: Kenny, married to Nancy (Long), of Everett, Donnie Bennett of Iamsville, Md; Conda Bennett, married to Carol (Reed), of Albermarle, N. C.; Danny Bennett, married to Charlene (Ripple) of Clearville; Jerry Smyers, married to Beth, of Glen Burnie, Md; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers; John Clark of Everett, Jim Clark, married to Joyce of Mt, Holly, N.J. and a sister Betty Cornell of Clearville, also survive.
Lillian was a life long member of her beloved church that meant the world to her, Cherry Lane Church of the Brethren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Heln Miller Bennett and siblings: Joe Clark, Helen Karns, Pauline Sponsler and Elsie Mellott.
She was a graduate of the Everett High School Class of 1940.
She was employed by the Everett Area School District for 26 years before retiring. She was the head cook at Mann Monroe Elementary School. Lillian was the most content, thoughtful, gentle and caring person you could ever know; she will be greatly missed by all. Because of her deep abiding trust and love for God, the family finds comfort knowing that she is home in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
