Gloria Jean (Reece) Niday passed away at home on December 05, 2019. She was born on April 29, 1942 in Pittsylvania County, daughter of John W. Reece and Mattie (Green) Reece. She was also predeceased by her husband, Ronald “Pete” Niday: 3 brothers and 5 sisters: a baby girl, Jean.
Jean was a devouted Christian. Her favorite holiday was always Christmas. She loved to decorate a Christmas Tree and cook and bake for the holidays. Her loving heart was always taking care of children.
Survivors include her sister: Mildred “Mickey” Sullivan; children: Michael Lee Moore (Kristina), Lisa Dawn Thornton (Tim); five Grandchildren.
Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
