MARK LEWIS DIES AT SMITHVILLE
Mark Lewis, Smithville farmer and cattleman, died at his home at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday following an extended illness. He would have been 23 years old Friday.
He was born July 12, 1923, at Smithville and had resided there throughout his life. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.
He is survived by his widow and three children, Charley, Dora and Julia, all of the home address; mother, Mrs. Sezrine Samuel, Smithville; three brothers, J. R. Lewis, Smithville; Joseph Lewis, Oklahoma City, and Rendall Lewis, Broken Bow, and two sisters, Misses Rachel and Iva Lewis, both of Smithville.
Funeral services were set for 2 p. m. today (Wednesday) at Beachton cemetery with Rev. Oscar Gardner officiating. Arrangements and burial in Beachton cemetery are under direction of Coffey funeral home.
