He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Claydine McWilliams, and two sons, Doyle and Mack, all of St Louis. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Roy Morlan and Mrs. James Deevers of New Madrid; and two brothers, Charlie of Memphis, Tenn., and Gordon of St Louis.
The funeral was held in the Methodist Church at Marston with Rev. J. R. Bullington of New Madrid officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid." Portageville Southeast Missourian (Portageville, Missouri), February 25, 1954
